The sound of steps, walking down the marble paved corridor, echoes around. In the midst of a silent wing of the academy, the man knows his most precious is close: the feeling in his chest, in his stomach, in his whole body - the emotion is filling his mind and soul, to such an intoxicating extend that not even the strongest, wisest man could stop at that point.
But, is it really right to call man such a thing?
The harbinger of chaos and corruption to the world is what he is.
Such a creature shouldn't be allowed to exist.
Yet, it does - has been for millennia, hidden away in the darkness below the earth. But now? Now it's ready to present itself to the world.
The door he reaches flies open with an high-pitched creak, thumping loudly against the walls from the force it was shoven with. Before it, she stands.
Elegant. Beautiful. Silent, even in her surprised state.
She is here.
And oh, the beast can't almost believe its senses.
She is here and is looking at him with concerned eyes - her pure, bright irises are staring back at him and the man (the part of 'man' the harbinger still has) screams with delight in his mind.
Were sentiments always so powerful in it (him), that a glance managed to cause such a reaction? Was her appearance always as such, that he felt like crying because of her graceful figure?
But oh, nothing should matter more than covering the last few steps and caging the lovely, ethereal creature before him with his strong arms.
"Ahh, I've finally found you..."
Those words slip out of his mouth, silky and yet trembling with sincere emotion, reverence...
There's no way they'd let her go now. Ever.
